About
When I first got myself into programming and building softwares, the idea of having a developer portfolio was at its all time high. Throughout my college years, I designed, redesigned, ideated, and shelved so many versions of my portfolio. And then came a hault where I simply stopped caring about it.
Now that I’ve been only writing code (and prompts) lately, I’ve started to feel the void in my main() more closely. And in order to touchbase with the 12 year old me who was introduced to the world of programming by accidently stumbling upon an old C++ book which came with a CD, I discovered that the desire of maintaining a place of my own on the internet was still there.
So welcome to my journal, dear stranger. I think I’ve stopped caring about having a developer portfolio, so take this as my life’s catalog.
I’m a builder — software engineer, open source maintainer, and occasionally I propose questionable ideas. I started with C++ as a kid somewhere around 2015-16, then finished reading Yashwant Kanetkar’s Let Us C somewhere during 2018-19. Then came the great hiatus of programming, which lasted until 2021, when during the pandemic I was introduced to the world of JavaScript, thanks to the emergence of freeCodeCamp. Ever since then and throughout my engineering college (2021-2025) I’ve been working with everything that exists in JS/TS ecosystem, mainly web apps.
I keep a journal where I think out loud about. And give updates about the things I’ve been working on lately at now
I also share things I’ve worked on and the stories behind them.
You can find my code on GitHub, connect on LinkedIn or X, see what tools I use, or learn more about me. There are certain tools and things which I enjoy using and can not stop recommending to everyone, those can be found on the uses page.
Thank you for visiting my silent corner of the internet :)
Sincerely, U.S.Khokhar
